RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West 2011 FWC For Sale in SC

Sportsmaster, Depends. I found that we never used the couch as a bed. We also did not like the fact that we did not have a place to sit and face each other, if we wanted to eat or just hang out inside. It also opens up the floor a bit too. You will loose your storage underneath, but we...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West 2011 FWC For Sale in SC

I have for sale a well maintained 2011 FWC Hawk for a 6.5' regular truck bed. The previous owner had in on an F150, and I had it mounted on a 2007 Dodge 2500. It is in excellent shape, with no defects to the canvas, windows or screens. No leaks or water damage of any kind. The only minor...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Atwoof furnace propane problem

Not to hijack this thread, but I had a problem this past weekend with my Atwood. It worked fine until day 2, then when I turned on the thermostat, I could not even get the blower to come on, no fan, no ticking indicating it was trying to lite. Thoughts.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Cerro Gordo

We took 2 CTD's over Swansea in 2015....one stock with 33" tires, another with a Doug Thuren 3" lift and 35's. It was slow going for the stock truck, but seemed to us, just another day on the Swansea :)

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Cerro Gordo

Cerro Gordo road is a freeway, 2WD all the way to Cerro Gordo. If you decide to go on across to the Salt Tram Summit station, its doable. The 1mi section called the "shelf road" is super narrow, as in, one way only. If you encounter someone, someone is backing up. Once past that, its a mild 4WD...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West SOLD - 2003 Ford F250 Lariat 4x4 V10 - SOCAL

I am the second owner of this truck. It has been meticulously maintained since new. Never off roaded except for some dirt roads. There are no leaks, or drips anywhere. The front ball joints were replaced in the past year with MOOG joints . New TOYO MT's this year. New 4.88 G2 gears install last...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Avoiding california 'weight fees' while renewing DMV registration

You can get the paperwork done at AAA if your a member. I thought about it, then figured with my luck, I would get busted. Until I can retire outside Kalifornia, I will just keep paying.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Changed trucks, now have to move the Hawk

Yep very easy. I called FWC and they sent me the instructions for drilling holes. When I bought mine, the PO gave me the wiring harness. Super easy; 1 banana job. Had it wired in about 45 minutes.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Engel 45 Won't Get Cold

Hey Jay thanks, Can you PM a price on a MT45? I tried the "turn it over on its lid for a night" No luck, still wont get cold. I'm still waiting to hear back from the Engel tech. Either way, I hear replacement compressors for that thing are $$$$. Might as well get a new one:(

Well, I tried the turning it upside down, with no luck. It won't cool.i guess the final step is to see if some local fridge repair guy can do something. It's going to hurt shelling out the $$$ for a new unit, but now I'm spoiled. It's been nice having the Engel on board.

Called Engel. A tech is going to call me to help troubleshoot it.. Unfortunately, I do not know how old the fridge is, the PO bought it. So warranty is out of the question..

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Engel 45 Won't Get Cold

Ya, I placed it on its lid last night and turned it over this morning. I will see if it gets cold tonight after work. If it still wont get cold, I will try to find someone local who might know these fridges.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Engel 45 Won't Get Cold

Just wondering if anyone else has had the same issue. The compressor is running, but the unit will not get cold. I have tried both 12V and 110V with the same result. I heard if you turn it over on its lid for a few hours, then back, it sometimes corrects the problem....try this today. Not...
