RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West New Truck thoughts for 2011 Eagle

I'm a Toyota guy have had three SUVs since the 90s. To be perfectly honest looking at my repair history they weren't exactly cheap or over the top reliable. I'm really interested in the diesel canyon. The range would be really nice. The interior would pass the wife test. I've never owned a GM...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Interesting comparo!

I drove the first one our local GM dealer got on the lot it was the loaded Colorado Z1 model. Drove very nice easy to handle in tight parking lots very quiet cabin. Interior was typical GM though. The top trim Colorado seats looked like the seats my Cousin had in his 87 Pontiac same with the...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Anyone using the new F150 2.7L with a camper?

Thanks for Sharing Cooter! From what I've read about the 2.7 it does seem to be able to get heavy work done without any drama which makes me think it would be fine with a FWC also. Our 07 Sequoia 4.7L no roof gear or trailer typically returns 17mpg on trips. Our recent trip just before July 4th...

A neighbor just bought the new F150 2.7L and he has been pretty impressed with it he replaced a mid 90's F150 with the new one. Curious if anyone is running a FWC...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Nevada's Monitor Range

The packer at Virgina Lakes told us on the 2nd that just in the past day or so the wild flowers had really popped up due to the decent thunder storm rain fall. Great shots, that unknown tall flower stock came up in our back yard here in Moraga also. I keep meaning to try and ID it. Very tall...

First I need to thank the Ski3pin's for the suggestion of Trumbull Lake campground. Great location and perfect for the kids and parents. We arrived late Saturday June 27th due to a late departure Saturday. But we hit Bridgeport at dusk and quietly rolled into camp at 9pm and were sacked out by...

I'm in the count down for our "Big" camping trip this summer. I need to finish adding the LED lighting to our tent trailer its about 2/3rds done right now. We added a family member to the trip so we are taking our Toyota Sequoia instead of the Subaru for the butts in seats space. However the...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Solar generator

Km HP was in decline when they stopped developing new tech. No new tech your screwed. If your screwed the best and brightest goes elseware and the decline snowball picks up speed. Just glad they gave it to the state parks vs sell out to a developer.

I'm sure this place won't stay unknown for long Currently it does not show up in the St parks site which is why its probably not known very well.
