RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Screen on exterior of front slider window

Good job there! Nice to see the innovation that takes place here. Is that a dab of RTV under the screen anchors? Kinda looks like a washer perhaps. Not sure I could do this as my camper stays on the truck all of the time. Thanks-

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West So what did you do to your camper this week?

Went camping in the desert. Nice weather, saw some old cabins and an old rancher taking care of his horses. Got to ride the ATV around and explore a bit. Met up with a group that repairs water guzzlers (Water for Wildlife) and the Native American Land Conservancy (nalc4all.org) that owns 4...

Right about mid way through VOTG, there are a couple of very short (~1/4 mile) side trails that have good camping. You can camp anywhere along the VOTG's (smooth dirt) road, but it is better if you can get off of the main road just a bit. It's a neat place to see.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Saline Preservation Association

SPA has existed for many years now; gone through a few changes, but it's goal remains the same. I believe it is in line with the preservation efforts that you have expressed. It's really a unique area, but it is different than the rest of DV. I vote separate.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West New Electrical System

Inverters-Determine the amount of load (watts) you want to run and get an inverter sized for that. Inverters use up power themselves, so using a "big" inverter to run a small load will waste power. I run a 19" LCD tv and a Directv receiver and charge cell phones at the same time on a 300w...

This is an old thread that asks if you can run an LPG reefer using a 1 lb (disposable) cylinder. Yes you can. You need the adapter to connect the disposable to the regulator assy. We were in AZ a few years back and the tank ran out. I happened to have the adapter and it worked fine. The...
