RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West FOR SALE: 2020 Four Wheel Camper "Swift" black diamond fully loaded in great shape ($25,000)

Seems like a great camper for a small truck! I have a friend in Santa Fe who currently pulls a trailer around with his Colorado. This would be a much better setup!

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West FOR SALE: 2020 Four Wheel Camper "Swift" black diamond fully loaded in great shape ($25,000)

I'd want to make sure that awning cap is indeed easily replaceable. We had a 2008 Hallmark awning cap come off along with an important part of the fastening system. They'd stopped making that awning so we couldn't get the parts we needed and had to do a whole new install. Having said that, if...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Do you love your kitchen sink faucet?

Fishyhead - interesting, the "Websteraunt" web site with its T&S options came up right away when I did an internet search (particularly this one, with an 8"swing spout like our current faucet...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Do you love your kitchen sink faucet?

I ended up Krazy gluing our old faucet escutcheon ring back together and it limped along for 2 years before breaking again. Kids are tough on cheap parts. I looked for new faucets to fit our 2-hole, 4" on center setup and still nothing worth buying. A few industrial laundry sink faucets and some...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West 2020 Power Wagon Build

I'll watch with interest - I love the thought of the articulated suspension on the Power wagon. I suppose you'll have to knock that back a bit to make it functional for high clearance rocky roads, but still will have an amazing go-anywhere rig.

Suspension upgrades? You've got to be well past factory GVWR with camper and bumpers, let alone water and gear. How've you got it set up to handle the rough stuff?

Exactly. Look for a used Hallmark. Composite roofs from 2008 onward are bomb-proof!

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Attached Fold Out Shower Enclosures

The curtain goes in a drawer inside the camper, and doesn't take up much space folded flat (it dries quickly). We have enough storage space so it's not a problem. I can see the attraction of an enclosure that stows outside where it attaches, though - in addition to storage space savings it...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West F350 tire airing down ranges w/ truck camper

I'm no expert, but (don't you hate it when people start their replies to your post that way?)... We have a slightly lighter setup with our Dodge Ram 2500 and a Hallmark 8' camper, and BF Goodrich T/A KO2's. We routinely drive long distances on rocky 4WD roads in Colorado and Utah, and air down...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Looking for the Right Hallmark Camper

Seems crazy expensive. Our 2008 Guanella is similar, maybe not quite as pimped with 160 Watts solar and no built-in toilet (we prefer cabinet storage and a portable-potty), but was a lot more affordable at $15500 in good condition. Maybe COVID has turned slide-in campers into gold!

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Bike mount attached to camper

Hey Kzlucas, did you figure it out? I'd like to do the same on our Guanella, we actually have to work out a system to carry 2 adult and 2 kids' mountain bikes on back. Had been using a swing-away hitch rack mounted to the rear platform steel 4x4 and it worked great until the jack mounts started...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Hallmark Guanella new mattress

What's wrong with the mattress that came with the camper? We're using the original mattress in our 2008 Guanella and it's as comfortable as anything we've ever slept on (including our Keetsa pillow-top mattress at home), firm enough to be kind to our backs.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West New Hallmark Milner - excited!

Welcome to the wonderful world of Hallmark campers. Ditto on the Hallmark folks - Bill, Matt and Andy have all been super helpful when issues come up. You just have to be persistent to get one of them on the phone... Post some photos please! I'd particularly love to see how the bikes are mounted...
