I'll watch with interest - I love the thought of the articulated suspension on the Power wagon. I suppose you'll have to knock that back a bit to make it functional for high clearance rocky roads, but still will have an amazing go-anywhere rig.

Suspension upgrades? You've got to be well past factory GVWR with camper and bumpers, let alone water and gear. How've you got it set up to handle the rough stuff?

Seems crazy expensive. Our 2008 Guanella is similar, maybe not quite as pimped with 160 Watts solar and no built-in toilet (we prefer cabinet storage and a portable-potty), but was a lot more affordable at $15500 in good condition. Maybe COVID has turned slide-in campers into gold!

Hey Kzlucas, did you figure it out? I'd like to do the same on our Guanella, we actually have to work out a system to carry 2 adult and 2 kids' mountain bikes on back. Had been using a swing-away hitch rack mounted to the rear platform steel 4x4 and it worked great until the jack mounts started...

What's wrong with the mattress that came with the camper? We're using the original mattress in our 2008 Guanella and it's as comfortable as anything we've ever slept on (including our Keetsa pillow-top mattress at home), firm enough to be kind to our backs.
