strayDog, Have you tried a mister clean magic eraser? I use it on all kinds of surfaces, plastic, metal, etc. and it works great. Just be aware it can scratch or dull some shiny surfaces.

I like my camper centered as well, definitely OCD! I usually just lower the camper so it's about an inch or two above the bed and push it over to center and lower the jack. Works great. I only move it at most an inch, well within the normal side-to-side flex of the jacks.
