I have a 2007 tacoma with a Fleet shell. I did a OME kit all the way around, with dakar springs and an add a lear. I also had a shackle drop put on the rear to fix the overall rake. Upgraded from a cooper m/s to a BFG KO2. I think the tires made the biggest difference.

Did not take the guided tour, but that sounds pretty cool. Will have to make a trip back for that! It was close to 100 degrees when we were there so shade was the name of the game that afternoon.

Took the MT, WY and ID recommendations from this thread and mapped it out. Assuming my wife and kids fly to SLC and I meet them there with the FWC, and gear. Looks like its about 21 hours driving SLC to SLC, pretty good for a week to 10 day trip! SLC Carter South Pass City Virginia City...

thanks, this is great info. I like the silver city idea...could be a good starting point for Id and MT. Heard Virginia City MT, is a toursty one but pretty cool. My kids are only 4 and 6 so they love that kind fo stuff.

Just got a 2017 Fleet with a second battery and it is wired in parallel. Second battery and wires is all. Would be really easy to add a second if the first is already there.

I am from SF Bay Area Ca...had it out this weekend up in Mendocino NF. The only things I got in it are a rollover couch and a heater. My kids are still pretty small, so all four of us can sleep comfortably.
