RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Thermostat Failure 2015 Hawk

Have you changed the batteries in it yet? I have a 2018 hawk and it has the old school style (forget the brand). There is a big thread about why they switched back to the old style on here somewhere.

Congrats! Also, remember your propane tanks will be empty. There is a place literally around the corner from FWC they recommended i fill mine at. Took 5 mins. Definitely worth it.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Hawk Flatbed towing a trailer

All I can comment on here is to STAY AWAY FROM ICONS!!! Every single person I know (5 off the top of my head personally) that paid the big $ for Icons has had them leaking within a year! 2 guys within 10k miles. They QC is horrendous! Google "leaking icon shocks" if you think im kidding I'd...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Wiring/Plumbing: Adding Shower to Existing Setup, Want Input

Looks good. Only thing I would change is a valve to determine whether the water goes to the faucet or the shower. That way you don't end up with standing water in the faucet line, if youre using the shower, and vice versa.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Heater / Furnace Issues above 10k Feet...

Hey All 2018 Hawk Just did a trip to the sierras. Had some issues above 10k. Heater/Furnace worked fine at 7-8k feet. Above 10k the fan would turn on, but no clicking or attempts to light, and then the fan would shut off, many attempts to try this over 2 nights above 10k. Removed large...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Mounting box on back of Fleet: Advice appreciated

I am a little late to the party, but reading through the comments. Food for thought... I hear some bracing to the bumper idea. If you mount the box to your FWC and brace it to the bumper, i cant see how you WONT have issues. The frame flexes separately from the bed of the truck. Bumper =...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Reccomendations for a better camera strap?

Highly Recommend Peak Designs! I have 2 bodies, so their little quick disconnect dongles (strap comes with 4) are a godsend swapping from body to body. Amazing Quality!

Check the polarity. If you’re not using Zamp, they are probably backwards

On my Hawk slide in, it’s about 1 foot REAR of the front vent, if that makes sense.
