RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West CA Thanksgiving week

Thanks for the info. We researched the Plains and definitely will do some exploration there. We have had a few bad experiences camping on weekends/holidays anywhere within a few hours drive of a city in CA. But..we were tenting then and it is much easier to move with the FWC if things get dicey.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West CA Thanksgiving week

Ok, so we just left Pinnacles and it occurred to us that this is Thanksgiving week. Is it as busy on the roads and in the campgrounds during this time as it is on the East coast? Areas to avoid? We are thinking Death Valley dispersed or Anza Borrego dispersed for a week or two to get away from...

Yet to be determined. Picking up new Hawk in Woodland this week. Also picking up some ideas from all of you. Manchester appears fairly close to Woodland for shake down trip. Is it difficult to find space this time of year? Any other suggestions much appreciated. Mostly like to avoid camp...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West East of the Mississippi FWC owners chime in

New East ofs!!, Leaving here F to begin the drive to CA for pick up of our new HAWK which will go on our 2015 Ford F150 4x4 off road. We were delayed by a few minor issues: tracking a leak in an air bag(an unsquare hose cut) and discovering that though there are trailer sockets on the bumper...

Thanks you 3. All good road info for flatlanders. We will probably be in the Mojave at some point as well. Spent a few nights there and needs further exploration. If you like old time country, try FURNACE MOUNTAIN. Dave is an amazing fiddler. Their first CD, FLY THE RIVER, has some very...
