RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Truck ownership philosophy

X2 ^^ I have always built what I want, cause , what I want isn't factory made. Seems cheaper to maintain what you want in the long run , says someone on a "fixed income" Technology is getting better, but most people I know [ mostly geezers ] can't afford 50-60k, My Grandmother , back in the...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Is A FWC By Definition A "Camper" In Oregon?

After all this rhetoric what is the "fine" for being a disobedient soldier in Oregon or any other state for that matter ? Seems to me, if a "trooper" has the time to stop you and take measurements, it might be time to take issue with the criteria of the "law". Mickey

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Load range C or E ?

Thanks ski, I have read your blog and seen many of the same places in my younger years. I'm leaning toward Cooper AT-3's Load range C , one of the few Decent tire co. that offer "C", I don't think I'm hauling around that much weight to justify 10 ply tires, though i'm not afraid to tackle a...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Dometic 3-Way fridge continually blows out on the road

Pretty good ideas how to remedy your issue, had the problem on my '05 Eagle , best way is to find a little aluminum flashing [ ACE hardware has it] and start fiddling with it around the pilot and burner area till you get it where you like it. As far as running the propane while driving, been...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Camper step

Went to Lowes yesterday for little camper goodies, in the electrical isle I noticed "christie" electrical boxes. Picked one 16'hx18"Lx12"deep, $14.00 figured I could use as storage when traveling and a step when camping. For my Ranger/Eagle combo it's perfect height , and still pull the boat/atv's.
