RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Teaser ?

I've got a friend who is ummm.... big, I think you'd say. And he runs an old hard side NCO popup and loves it. He'd be all over something like this!!

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Fridge has flame but no cooling...

I haven't done anything on it yet. I don't plan to use the camper again for a few months so I have time.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Carpet to cover camper floor

I used a scrap from the leftovers from my house. I stapled mine down with a regular staple gun - I didn't want it moving at all. When it gets trashed I will yard it out and replace it with somemore. My son is just learning to walk, so the carpet made it much less slick for him and softer when...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Atwood 8516-III Furnace Question

The limit switch is stuck to the heater box portion of the furnace. If you look straight into the furnace from the door it is the small sensor with two screws in the very back. You can also find it by following the wire from the sail switch to the limit switch - they are connected if I...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Heater Installation Decision For 2006 Hawk

Do the Wave 3's have adjutsable thermostats? I think the real thermostat with the set it and forget it ability make the built in heaters great. I have an older atwood and don't find it too loud - but if there was a quiter option I would be all for it.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Fridge has flame but no cooling...

My driveway is very flat (test location). And the flame is good and blue. The previous owner told me he had the fridge serviced a couple times and it would work for a while and then not work. But it probably hasn't been working in 5 years.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Fridge has flame but no cooling...

Is it a 3-way, or just 2? Does it work on 110V? sounds like a leaking (empty) cooling unit = it's toast. 2 way only. I thought it might be leaky or empty - is there a way to test it?

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Fridge has flame but no cooling...

I have been unable to get my fridge to work since I brought home my FWC. This weekend I got the flame to light, got a good solid flame that stayed lite over night -- but it didn't do anything - no cooling at all. I was also unable to get the 12V side to do anything either. And the final straw...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Tire Pressure

With my off road Scout I have run everything from 40 - 2 psi and it all comes down to what speed you want to be able to go. The faster you want to go the more psi you will need. I've peeled tires off the bead at 18 psi, but I was hauling butt and rounding corners/hitting rocks way to fast...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Reflectix insulation

I'm guessing not too many WTW types relax in such balmy conditions!. But that is good information, thanks, and seems like the reflectix is doing a great job. One thing I found in my 98 Grandby was the open port for cold air to infiltrate around the furnace when it is not blowing. I solved that...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Help me choose a functional budget truck.

Sounds like any of the big three would be good. You had your chance Mahindra ;). Originally was looking at Dodge but read on another forum that they had transmission issues and poor resale value fwiw. So, I'm more focused on the F250 (7.3L diesel preferably) or a Chevy 2500. Just hoping it will...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West What is your MPG with FWC ?

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Help me choose a functional budget truck.

I'd go with as new and as low of mileage of 3/4 ton Dodge diesel that you can find. You will have some room to grow into it :D I have an old one and love it. Almost zero $$ in upkeep, very low maintainance if you can do it yourself. Runs great all day long, good mileage. My truck has paid for...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Furnace won't light

So, the sparker/igniter is clicking but the flame doesn't go -- is that the symptom? Or is the igniter not even clicking? The fan comes on for its pre-fire 15 seconds or whatever, the ignitor fires, the gas valve opens, you can hear it burn for 2 seconds, then it goes out. It does this 3...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Furnace won't light

What model furnace does yours have? I went a few rounds with my furnace and have now had the entire furnace out 2x and replaced way too many parts... But it works awesome now!!! ARGGGHHHHHH!!! I spoke too soon. I was all pumped up to hit an out of the way campsite that I have actually wanted...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Quick removal camper jacks?

I think I have settled on a design for my new jack brackets. i am only going to mess with the front jack as the rears are fine and clear the truck and trailer fine. The old ones stuck out way too far all the time - the new ones will be easily removable and leave the camper flush on the front...
