I think you could take the bent jack to a machine shop and have them put it in a press to straighten it. As to the roof, I don't know.

Thanks EDR. My Ram is not lifted but I still need (IIRC) 41" to the floor of the truck bed. I think I will try something like Bosque Bill's or Bill Harr's step. Probably need 3 steps. The hunt continues.....

Haven't gotten the hang of posting links. But I just saw a build thread and one of the links there was for Sheefdog's build. IIRC, he did a whole floor pack replacement. Dusty. ETA: It's the Turtleshell build a few posts below.

To support the camper wile you remove and replace the floor...... I looked at some of the build (or rebuild) threads. On some of them, the builder removed the bottom 2 or 3 pieces of siding (mine was stapled to the frame) and ran an 8 foot 2x4 on the inside and outside, and bolted them together...

What is anyone using for a step on a 3/4 ton Ram with a Grandby with the tailgate down (short bed, 8 foot camper)? I am currently using a small step ladder but want something a bit more solid.

While the Hondas do not have a fuel shut off, there are a couple hacks on youtube that show you how to put one in. Just remember to shut off the fuel before you shut off the generator, or it does no good. Let the carb run out of fuel and the generator die. Mine takes an extra pull or 2 to start...

Stalking: Looks good! Are those tail lights/ brake lights / turn signals in the bumper? If not, here in Minnesota you could get pulled over for having the truck lights not visible. Just a thought.
