RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Access holes to turnbuckles

My 83 keystone had panels in it that we're about 5" by 12" under the front cushions on either side. Use to put a plastic bag in there and stuff the dirty laundry in it. Finally converted to front in the bed tie downs and it worked out well to use those holes for the tie downs.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Keystone Rebuild - Narrow Floor Pack, Redo Interior, Paint Exterior

Great timing, just bought new f350. Been running a 94 f250 with my 1984 keystone and guess what need to do with my camper? Passenger side does look easy, driver side is the one I'm concerned about. Did you have to take apart the inside first or can I just make sure of where I'm cutting and go...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Granville on a F150?

I believe the camper will not fit the newer truck bed without being modified. Check out FWC website for fitment chart. I carried a 1983 keystone in my 1984 F150 with some mods to the truck. Air bags and shocks mostly but the truck did fine.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Cost to maintain and own a FWC? Realistically...

I have a 1983 Keystone that I bought in 1990. It has been on four different trucks and on some real rough drives. Everything still works, is in need off new canvas and ends were rebuilt once. Put on new outside water spigot. Keep it clean and dry and they will last.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Four Wheel Campers Review - Member Input

I have a 1983 keystone I bought used in 1990. It has all the original equipment and it all still works, 3 way fridge, stove, furnace and water pump. I changed out the lift panels last year and hope to replace the canvas next year. This thing has been every where the truck will go. I have tore...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Leaking 2001 Hawk

You might talk with Stan. At this years show I saw they now have a rubber seal that goes around the front and part way back on each side. It is suppose to be for the problem you are having with the driving rain. Looked like a simple rubber type seal that you could apply yourself.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Mods need to an F250 4x2 for a camper trip thru the west

There is something you guys are not getting here. A lift kit does nothing for ground clearance. Only a taller tire can do this. Alift kit only raisies the body not the suspension which is what will be dragging across the rocks. I would level the truck in front, air bags in the rear for the...
