RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Interior light replacement

I have been searching through some topics on this site and can't quite find what I'm looking for. I am looking to replace my interior lights. My camper uses the "sunray" brand, which apparently isn't made any more. Just wondering if anyone knows of a brand of fixtures that would be...

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Will I be happy?

I have a 2000 Grandby on a 2001 f-150. I have been very pleased. I did add spot-rite airbags. This rig has taken us to some wonderful places and is a great toy to have. Also pleased with the extra space.

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West update...new owner 92' Eagle

My water tank drain screws into the bottom of the tank through the camper and is directly above the bed side of the truck. I believe the petcock is standard. I put the elbow on it to gain more clearance. That's the drain I was talking about. (petcock) Most are aware of the grey water drain.

Thanks for the advice H20 sanitize??????? sounds easy but there's got to be an easier way to drain the storage tank. pumping takes awhile There should be a drain on the outside of the camper. After flushing I use a product called Tastepure to help keep my stored water tasting fresh.

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West 110-125 volt shore power

Thanks for the replies. It seems that there is no converter in the camper. This is not to big of a deal as we are seldom at developed campgrounds. However, I like Pods8 idea of installing the charger and will probably do that at a later date when I have some more funds. For now the solar...

Well, we made the plunge into the FWC world. Picked up our used 2000 grandby on our last days off. Thanks to everyone who answered all of my previous questions. It made all the difference in making our decision. The camper was very well taken care of by the previous owner and we couldn't be...

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Grandby on a short bed f-150

If you want to. I ordered my parts from McMaster for the eye bolt hardware. I had no intention of using the stock wiring setup so there was no need to get that from the factory. The rear location he listed likely would only work with a short bed truck and a grandby, so I believe that is a...

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Grandby on a short bed f-150

Usually the eye bolts that go into the truck bed for the older campers like that (2000 Grandby) would be ... Front eye bolts would go all the way in the front corners of the truck bed. Rear eye bolts would go all the way to the back of the truck bed, just around the corner and inside of the...

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Grandby on a short bed f-150

Be aware about the center of gravity issue & the way your truck/suspension will react. Additional one that some folks don't always think about that Stan mentioned once is if you run with your tailgate down under the truck it may block the access to the crank to lower your spare tire. If that...

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Grandby on a short bed f-150

I have been following you guys for some time now. It's good to finally have a reason to post. I have a 2001 f-150 shot bed. I have been really trying to find a Hawk, but as you all know people tend to hold on to these campers. I have finally found a 2000 Grandby that suits my needs and my...
