I'm an Eagle owner and confirm the floor must be supported. My solution has been to tow a motorcycle with me and use that as a vehicle during long term stops.

I have an Eagle with composite panels. It's the Extra headroom top. If you like the taller panel measurements let me know. I forget how much taller it is then stock but it was only offered 1 or 2 years before they canceled the Eagle model.

My Fiamma is awesome. I would not get the Batwing I've been camping with others with the batwing and they always seem to catch the wind and cause problems. I like having the Fiamma side and rear as separate awnings.

Thanks for the comments. It's good to know 2x4s worked so my thoughts of adding a 5inch tank under the camper is close to being the correct size. Also the side compartments with wood doors sounds just fine... And yes, getting in and out flexibility is a concern but my current tacoma is lifted...

Both, spray on let soak to remove bugs. The Silicone will leave a layer that will help the next time to remove bugs. BUT it's not like wax it will wash away over time. But I live in a desert so the film stays a long time for me.
