RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Awning Recommendations

Forgot to mention. I have an ARB 2500 on the other side and also have the 8’x8’ room that attaches onto it. The awning is super easy to use and the room takes as along as a tent to set up. Nice for when we’re staying put for more than a day.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Awning Recommendations

We love our batwing and I actually like the poles as they give it a more solid footprint on windy days. If a pole gets in the way of our setup the we just stow it in the away position. We’ve had it up in pretty good wind and rain as well without issue. It will collect water to a degree when its...

Thanks for the reply David. I haven’t put a ton of thought into which way well be coming in. We will be staying at my friends property in deadwood for sure though. I’m almost thinking that we shoot up to Tahoe and stay a night or two then over to Shasta area for another night or two then up to...

We had a big change of plans and looks like were heading up into Oregon for our our summer trip in July. Our stay in Oregon is all set but need some input on where to camp near the Shasta/Trinity area. We passed through there last year on our way home and thought it would be a great place to...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West 30# 36” struts from 4wheel hawk

If you mean the 10mm opening on the end of the strut then yes. I do not have the brackets that have the male end that bolts onto the camper. It wont let me upload the pic of the entire strut for some reason. Hope that helps

I bought these for my hawk but they were about 1/2” too long when closed. I paid $60 to get them shipped to my house and am hoping to recoupe a little of that so asking $40 shipped conus. The measurements say 60#, 36”x20.5” ICL. Thanks Paul

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Anyone using FWC Hawk in a 5.5 or 5.8 bed?

Google tundra double cab and tundra crewmax. It’ll show you the difference between the 6.5ft bed and the 5.8ft bed. Lots of double cab tundras with hawk campers

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Colorado trip planning

We’re taking a summer trip to CO in mid July and looking for some camping location ideas. We’ve never visited Colorado so we don’t have any first hand experiences to draw from. We’re looking to do a mix of kid friendly areas that are near or in town to take advantage of restaurants and kid...
