    Big problem

Hi. Got to a campsite and putting up the top the front left side went too far. Won't go up or down. At least got the pins in the other three corners. Getting cold but we'll make it through the night. ANY suggestions welcome!

    Converter battery charger

I think I found my problem. There is a toggle switch where the fuse box lives. It was off and looks like it connects to the charger. Never knew what it was for!

    Converter battery charger

Just back from a couple hot days camping. I have a couple solar panels and a trimetric meter. I was plugged into AC. Woke up early morning and saw 12.4 volts on the trimetric. Sunny day would have brought the batteries almost full by the time I plugged in. I know I had AC in the camper....no...

    Trailering?

Thanks again. I knew I needed the extension just needed some feedback on whether it would make pulling a hassle.

    Trailering?

Thanks all. Had a keyboard glitch and couldn't post. Dog snapped the old keyboard cable in a thunderstorm. Replaced with a Mexican keyboard and took me two days to find the ? Anyway, I don't want to spend a ton of money....rather just go slow! With the extension is handling different, sway...

    Trailering?

HI. I've got a 10' cabover on a 02 f250 diesel. I want to bring more stuff and am thinking of a small enclosed cargo trailer. 5x8 or 10. Probably 600 lbs of bulky things in it. Beyond the hassle of a pulling a trailer I would need a hitch extender, which halves the tongue weight capability if...

    Problem with hydraulic pump.

Thanks all. Had an electrician come to us. He spent a good hour tryiing to figure out what was happening. The ground from the pump wasn't grounded. Something was shorted. Ran wires direct off the battery to get it going. I'll try to clean it up a bit when I get home. Annoying but we're camping...

    Problem with hydraulic pump.

Been on the road for three weeks. Baja to South Dakota and now headed back home. Pushed an extra 150 miles yesterday til sundown. Went to put up the camper and nothing! Checked the fuse and looked for something loose. Zippo. Drove to a hotel and waiting for a parts store to buy a new fuse. Any...

    Replacing Pirelli seals

A neighbor said it's polybutyl adhesive sealant. My Alaskan is a 2002. If this stuff is original it's pretty impressive stuff. Now all I have to do is find some down here in Mexico.

    Replacing Pirelli seals

It's not the surface where the pirellis seat...it's the joining of the metal strip to the body of the top half.....like a caulking strip. The adhesive would have been almost impossible to remove if it went between the metal strip, the pirelli's and the top half. After going through countless...

    Replacing Pirelli seals

Hello. I am replacing my Pirelli seals and I'm running into some sort of adhesive, that whoever did it before, applied in a caulk line joining the metal strip that sandwiches the pirelli's. Great, gummy stuff that I'm sure locks everything into place and must provide a moisture barrier..... and...

Hi-Lift jack, Axe, Shovel & Rotopax gas pack mount on 10' CO w/pics

Thanks flyboy! If I was trying to get a tin boat up there it would be the way to go. I just have a kayak and looking for more space for a moveable solar panel and maybe a storage pod. I want to beef up what's up there now.
