    Battery gauge reliability?

My bad. The gauge is fine, my 30A fuse was blown and the optima held its charge so well the gauge didn't move even after running the furnace for three nights. I replaced the fuse and charged the battery and everything is in working order.

    Battery gauge reliability?

Does this gauge seem to work for everyone else? Maybe I got a dud. Seems to me after three days of using the furnace and lights the gauage should move.

    Battery gauge reliability?

Is the gauge that comes with the Hawk that displays battery life and water level accurate? I'm sure the water level was right but I put in a fully charged blue top Optima and the gauage only read 3/4 full. I then drove to the campsite for an hour with the battery plugged in to the truck and when...

    Air bag suggestions

Took the camper out this weekend with the timbrens on. Went down a bumpy gravel road and the truck rode awesome. I am very happy with them. With the truck unloaded they ride stock and with the hawk on they barely drop.

I installed the Timbrens today. It was a very easy install.(no drilling) I have yet to test them with the camper on the truck but they look like they are going to work good for my application.

I got my Hawk today and it didn't drop the truck that much so hopefully they'll be enough. My mechanic buddy said almost every airbag he installs at his shop comes back leaking. We...

    Air bag suggestions

I've talked with my mechanic buddy and he recommended a load leveler called tursten blocks?(I don't think that is exactly the right name) They install on to the bottom of your frame and they are a progressive dampener that takes the load as needed. They have no air and they offer stock ride when...

    Hawk interior width

Just waiting for our new Hawk to come and are figuring out our sleeping arangements for ourselves and our 10 month baby. We were hoping to bring a portable play pen for her to sleep in until she's old enough to sleep on the bed. I'm just wondering if it will fit on the floor. It is about 30" wide.

Thanks for the replys. I am also going to be towing a Yamaha Rhino behind the truck so I figured I'd better get the airbags. Has anyone had any problems with the airlines to the bags leaking in any ways?

    Anyone tow a trailer?

I tow a flat bed trailer for my Yamaha Rhino and when I set up camp I back up to the trailer sideways and put down a piece of artifical turf and it makes a nice porch. Sorry No picture. What kind of truck do you have? I also have a rhino and I'm planning on towing it along with my camper. I...
