hi

I'm a newbie near Toronto CANADA.
Looking for options for upcoming cross country trips
Sleeping for 2 adult and boy 13 , girl 12 ... well basically 4 adults.

With the 10' Alaskan, can another trailer be towed as well ?

The camper would overhang the bumper hitch on an 8' bed, but I haven't seen close-up photos.

We have a Hobie Cat currently. A horse trailer purchase is coming up.

TIA

Hi David, Check out the thread below Rusty has a neat solution to extending the tow hitch below the tailgate,he tows a boat. Welcome to the Forum.

They make extension stingers just for that extension, I just included stairs for the camper, a grey water holding tank and a little extra storage. It works well towing the boat with a little over 300# tongue weight.

A horse trailer wouldn't be much off that tongue weight...if it is you can get extension stingers made to accept more weight than 300#....just takes more steel and several frame connections.

With 4 adults, a cab over would be the only way to go IMHO....I've slept 4 in the NCO but 2 were children....small children....very small children...and it was "crowded".....and you must have "co-ordination"

We just finished a 6 day trip to Yosemite Nat. Park with three....one in a tent :D
