We own a 1971 CO, we are looking for advice on what people use to seal the top half of the camper to the bottom. We have ordered 2" Pirelli Rubber Webbing but are wondering if/what else people use. How do you attach and seal the Pirelli? We also took off this old gray rubber seal from the back and the door. Is this something others use and does anyone know what it is? Also, for around the cabover where the sides come up, old carpet was used. What are people using to replace that?
Thank you in advance for your time.

The problem I am trying to overcome is that the top half and the bottom shift so much in relation to each other depending how level or unlevel my parking spot is.... if I were to drill another hole between the two halves It is not going to line up later....

I use pipe insulation wrap to form the seal ....

Just install the t-track for the front door

I use wood clamps to seal the side doors.... still looking for something more elegant and less complicated... ie.... I have to remove them before I put the top down

Thanks for the info. Very helpful. What do have around the rest of the camper (the bottom section) to create a barrier between the roof and the main body?
