1983 Fleet Restore.. Width of camper questions..

So, we got this little Covid19 issue and work is slow.. picked up a mess of a camper to restore..

The badge says 11/13/1983.. I have gutted it, and started to rebuild (its a full on rebuild, only the roof will be original)..

It seems really narrow.. Its 69 inches at its widest point.. were there different models/widths of these?

Its gonna be great, but will only work for folks 5'8 or less...

I had a similar year for my first camper and it was not this narrow.. does not appear to be altered in anyway as I have it down to the frame..

My Eagle is also 69" wide. Since I sleep on my side, I sleep East/West when I;m alone just fine. With company, I pull out the bed shelf for a queen size.

I've got an 83 Fleet, measures 75 1/2 inches inside width.

If it is 69" wide it may be a Ranger model. The Ranger was for an 8' bed, the Ranger II for a 6' bed.

hmmm.. it was clearly labeled a Fleet with big bold letters..

interesting.. it is 7.5 feet long..
