2007+ Tundra and Hawk combo...your thoughts?

Hey all,

I'm considering the purchase of an '07+ Doublecab Toyota Tundra and a new Hawk camper and have a few questions:

-Can the truck handle a fully loaded Hawk? I'd like to keep the suspension as close to stock as possible...I was thinking new Bilstein 5100s all around, along with airbags, as well as E-rated BFGs...

-Anyone know the total height of a stock height Tundra with a new Hawk camper? I'm trying to figure out if the combo will fit in my garage...

Other trucks I would consider would be a Nissan Titan extra cab, or possible a new Ford F250 Extra cab(prefer to stick to gas).

Any thoughts or measurements would be greatly appreciated!

IMO you will be fine with whichever platform you choose. Happy hunting.

Those new Tundra trucks are nice.

Much bigger than they used to be.

Bigger brakes too.

Having a good set of tires and the air bags is about all most customers need to do.

It will fit in the garage if you have an 8' door.
