We spent 11 days in Texas mid-March before things started going down hill. Thought about extending, but in the end felt it was safer to be at home.

Texas Blue Bonnets

Enjoy our trip through the Texas Hill Country, with a short stop in the Texas Panhandle.

You will also find a couple of links to articles on the Hill country.

Enjoy and be safe. Looks like we will be dreaming of our next trip and hopes that Covid-19 will have a good ending.

JD, thanks for posting, it’s a welcome diversion. Hopefully it won’t be long until more of us can get out and about.

The Blue Bonnets are beautiful. It looks like the paintbrush might be a different species than here in Oregon.

Be well!

John, glad you made in home safe! Thanks for the nice report, though! It sure does help mitigate all we are all dealing with and attempting to adjust to. We will get through this. Stay positive. :)

Fine TR. We should be there now. Our daughter lives in Schertz TX. Had planned to leave a week ago and take our time checking out some the campgrounds Ski hit on the SW trip. Maybe next spring.

John, I wish we could have met up but better safe than sorry. Next year will bring a better trip :) Let's all just hunker down and plan our next trip for when this is over!

For sure. Not seeing friends has been hard, but not being able to see family is worse. We have seen our grandkids at 6' but not the 2 in Southern Indiana. Stay safe
