1999 toyota tacoma, used it to cary our 900lb phoenix pop-up for over a year with no issues. I posted a bit about that last summer if you want to find those posts. Some info about the truck:
-Standard cab (2 bucket seats)
-4WD
-2.7L 4 cylinder engine
-ONLY 105XXX ORIGINAL MILES
-manual transmission
-manual door locks, windows, and hubs
-with the camper on I got 20mpg, with it off its like 24-25mpg highway
-it has custom alcan rear leaf springs that I bought used from another WTW user last year. Great ride with a camper on, decent ride with the camper off and some sand bags in the bed. My mechanic also installed a leveling kit in front and new longer shocks in back at that time. I don't know what make or model those are, probably not the top of the line stuff often discussed on this forum, but nothing shoddy either. The shocks are red.
-6-ply light truck tires, less than a year old.
I bought the truck at like 75000 miles and have all the records since then. It's never been in an accident. It does have a crack in the drivers side of the windshield, and a small dent on the tailgate where a rock hit it. The upholstery is worn but no tears or holes. Those are the only issues I know of. I'm selling it because we got a newer truck with a backseat.
Included (if desired): the pictured matching shell, sandbags to weigh down the springs and give traction, extra rims with a set of studded snow tires.
$9500
I'm in Truckee, CA. The camper in some of the pics is not for sale at this time.
