A trip to Port Angles and back

Headed up I-5 enroute to Silverton Oregon when the sign in Red Bluff cought my eye.
A slight deture was inorder and I got off the beaten path, wound up in LVNP.

I was not disappointed and spent most of the afternoon exploring the area.

Found a Great campground with only a few campers.

The fish bandits robbed me of two bottles of eggs, little do they know, I'll be back and better equipped.

This trail marker was in the campground. I recalled in reading about the markers in someone's other post so I thought I would inclued one in mine.

Headed North on the two lane.

This was one of the best campgrounds, only seven spots total and only one other was occupied.

The hatchery was full of Salmon and Steelhead fry.

Spotted this at Detroit Lake. Had to pull over and get a picture

Dutch oven deserts.

The Dungeness river from the Rail Road Bridge Park. Lots of fish in the river, however, the river was closed to fishing

Had to visit the HOH rain forest, haden't been there sence 2001.

The Yellow Jackets were out in force

Great spot to have lunch and watch the wild life

Found a campground at Tillamook's North Jetty. I took this picture for a family member when I noticed the Blue Moon in the background

Stopped in Bandon for Fish & Chips and noticed this.

Huge Crab in Oregon
