Airbag spacer?

Ok, went to insatll the Firestone Ride Rites and they didn't fit right....

Called Firestone and they said I needed a spacer (2 inch) cause of the TRD off road package.

After an extensive search on this forum, I never saw anyone mention it??

Am I crazy or do some of yoou have the spacer also?

My 06 Tundra TRD came with 18" wheels. When I installed ride rites, there was only 1/4 inch clearance, so I went with a slightly narrower tire (265/65) when I got my E load BFG's. Now I have 1/2" clear. Hope that helps.

I think I worded that wrong...

The upper bracket only had the top 2 holes reaching the frame. Firestone said I needed some sort of "spacer" to lift the airbag so all 4 holes on the upper mounting bracket reach the frame...

The photos and directions are slightly confusing...

Especially when all did not fit right. They did not put 2 of the bolts needed in so I really was confused

And I thought working on the VW was confusing!!!
