Today's SF paper had the story about the Alaska ferry going on strike.
Be aware if you have plans or are going to make plans soon.
They said there are people stuck all over the system.
Most of the places the serve have no road out or in.
What a nightmare.
In Ketchikan has run out of lodging options so an old ferry in port is being used
to house people until other arrangements can be made.
Good luck only way out of Kethickan by car is by water.
The last time a strike was called was in 1977 and lasted 20 days.
