If you happen to be pulling into a campground in the afternoon as campers return to their rigs/tents that are just a little more rustic (read: vault toilets and no power in your campsite) or the road a bit more rustic (read: unpaved), when you pump up the top and lock in the front panels, you may find more than a couple neighbors who have never seen as COOL a rig as an Alaskan being set up.
The similarity to the interior is not lost on those who feel that plastic as an interior is not as warm and inviting as your Alaskan interior is.
The best advertising Alaskan could ever hope for is the pride owners have over their rigs. I'm not knocking the other soft-sided pop up campers mind you, but these older Alaskans show their owners' personal touches and are generally quite well taken care of. They are unique in the design and have not really changed much past all the creature comforts now available from the factory.
You can bet that if two Alaskans pull into a campground, the owners will meet up with one another!
One last thing....did I mention they are just plain....COOL? Oh yeah....I did!
