Another fun trip. My solar worked very well but I either need a new house battery or have another issue to look into.

I was looking for bear on the backside of Kettle Rock. Lots of deer but this guy was the most impressive.

Antelope Lake in the background. Chatted with some guys in Lassen on the ham portable. I totally forgot the next day was field day.

Aroung the Lake the deer were plentiful

Fishing was horrible so this guy let me take his picture.

Two trips to Thompson Peak. Second was because my brother couldn't find it on his own.

Two views from the same spot.

I was checking to see if Last Chance Creek was fishable and found this new addition to the creek.

Okay, back to unloading the truck in the heat. Ugh.

Too bad about the fishing. Was that a beaver dam? From the photo it looks like it has an earthen base... Lassen still has a respectable amount of snow on her. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, beaver dam. They probably did use mud as its in a fairly treeless area. Its been years since I've found more than a spot of snow in the area. Years ago I'd take the Jeep (beer) trailer up and get a load of snow. No more.
