We spent a couple of days in Williams, AZ with friends from Merida in the Yucatan. They drove from Vegas meet us. We stayed at the Motel 6 in Williams on Rt. 66.

And moreover, you were at the mercy of restaurants and cafes. Nice to eat out sometimes, but only as an option.

We use to stay in Motel 6 occasionally but had an experience several years ago in Hayward that cured me.
They're going to waste a lot of electricity keeping the light on for me.
