A trailer I used to have had a track like that to hang an outside grill.

I like it! I might use hanging cables for the outside support rather than risk denting the fender though.

It is probably not this: 1/2 Height 80/20, but that would be one of my options to consider. The other other option would be some of this: Aircraft Seat Track.
