Arches NP next week

Just in case anyone is in the area, we'll be headed to Arches next weekend with 2 nights in the area before the park and 2 nights after.

I'll be interested in hearing about the conditions you encounter. Possibly planning an April trip to Utah myself.

I'm thinking about heading that way next week (4/5 - 4/11) too. Depends on the weather though... we've gotten 8" of fresh snow here in the last 24 hours with another storm coming this weekend. Hopefully I can get over the pass (now closed) and outta Wyoming.

I'm hearing current conditions around Moab, are good for the big Easter Jeep Safari week. But I'm thinking of heading towards Comb Ridge, and maybe out to Hovenweep...

I'll keep an eye out for ya Brett!

Even SE UT has been wet this week. I expect a little mud here and there, but it is the desert. We might try for the Needles district of Canyonlands or that general area before heading to Arches on Sat. I'll post as plans firm up. I have a "secret spot" that I haven't been to in years that we can rally to.
