Arctic pack Velcro attachment to carpet

I am working on my diy arctic pack. Any recommendations on attaching the front corner Velcro to the carpet covering the aluminum frame?

I did that on the ones we made for our All Terrain Campers. I also made the material about eight inches longer to tuck well behind the lift panels. You will need to cut a slit in the material to accommodate the short attachment strap that attaches the sideliner to the lift panel.

I am worried about the Velcro not sticking to the carpet.
