We are working on compiling a list of advocacy groups that work to preserve/protect our precious areas of interest. A few examples of these advocacy groups are below:

Friends of Black Rock Desert
Friends of Chaco

The Oregon Natural Desert Association is a great advocacy group for the high desert regions of easter Oregon that are primarily, though not entirely, comprised of the northernmost portions of the Great Basin.

Includes the Steens Mountains, Hart Mountains, Owyhee Canyon Land and many other areas.
