Isn't that kind of what you're doing?

And ditto on the great photos and description. Seeing photos looking up at "the Lady" perched on a rock surveying her realm is a very welcome return to normal.

Oh I don’t know, you’re the writer, maybe “detours”? I don’t think you could hardly call any of that a distraction. And those bee hives! What a joy to see!
I think you two have shown perfectly what these rigs are meant for. Thanks for sharing with us.

Thanks for the kind comment, Gussie! Clyde is ingrained into the fabric of Sierra mountaineering history. My reading on this trip was a biography on Norman Clyde so walking into the museum with a new exhibit on Clyde was a real treat. :)
