Hello,

My spouse and I have been shopping for a used popup truck camper. We are hoping to find someone who is willing to let us tour their ATC popup camper. We have not been able to get inside of one yet and would really like to see the inside of some of the models.

Anyone located in Washington state, especially Seattle metro and north of Seattle would be very close for us.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

PNWtraveler,welcome to the cult.
I don't live in your area but I just want to recommend the ATC line of campers.
They are very well built and Marty and crew are able to work with you on planning and options.
They come highly recommend.
I have a 2009 Bobcat full camper side dinette on a 2002 Toyota Tundra 4X4 AC cab.

There might be some inside photos of the camper om my blog.Feel free to visit it.

This site is full of very helpful members and there a good number in the PNW area.

Make sure you check out the thread Used truck pop up campers for sale.

There seem to be new posts daily and they don't last long.
If you find one you like jump on it.

Enjoy your searching.

PNWtraveler, welcome to WTW and best of luck to you in finding your new camper.

I'm sorry I'm not closer to you so you can take a look at my 2017 ATC Panther. But I do have some pictures here if you want to take a look.

The Panther is the short bed model for a full sized truck and comes in a couple of widths. Mine is 84" wide. Let me know if you have any questions.

Not closer but one option I wish I had is the sink/stove setup in jimjxsn’s camper. I have the stock sink and stove setup in my ATC Ocelot. They work but when my wife comes with me, we sleep north-south. The bed extends over the stove which causes a problem. I get up way earlier than my wife and making coffee involves waking her and closing the bed extension.

A JetBoil could be in your future. In addition to being useful as a backup cooking measure for the freeze dried meals in a pouch, they are great for making morning coffee or tea while letting the other person sleep. Use it inside or while sitting outside enjoying the early morning light.

I'm in Sequim and have an ATC if you want to come look. Perhaps a bit far from Seattle for an easy trip but you're welcome to come over if it fits your need. Caveat is that I got a basic shell with the furnace and stovetop and built out the interior myself. But you could have a look at the workmanship on the ATC itself. I've been very pleased with it overall.

Thank you all for the replies. Appreciate how welcoming the WTW forums have been.

Looks like there are a lot of great camper setups. Seeing what you all say works best will help in making whatever used camper we can get our hands on our own.

Coming from the Backpacking world, we have multiple Coffee options including a jet boil French press which is great for a post hike Coffee on a cool morning.

Thanks
Max
