A year in the making, LOL.

Beautiful views of colorful aspen and oaks covering the mountainsides and valleys of southwestern Colorado. Locations listed below. The images were captured during my trip of September 30th through October 3rd, 2019, in the San Juan, Gunnison, and Rio Grande National Forests of Colorado.

There is a new video posted on Bosque Bill's Backroads travel & camping blog.

This video is in 4K UHD. I recommend you watch it full-screen.

Bosque Bill,

Thanks so much for sharing. Due to a job change several years ago, I left my favorite state of Colorado, but through your wonderful videography, I got another glimpse tonight. Stunning colors, view points, and sounds. Well done, and appreciate your efforts!

Bill awesome video. Thanks for sharing. Just got back from many of the same areas. Visited both North & South Creek Falls, camped at Lake Cristobal, drove up to Kebler Pass and Lost Lake. We camped up at Paradise Divide a couple nights and at Oh Be Joyful Campground on Slate River Road so we could spend a little time exploring Crested Butte.

FYI, I got word yesterday of a wildfire up South Mineral Road west of Silverton named the Ice fire. It is near the campground where the gravel road ends and not far from where a segment of my video was filmed. This is very difficult terrain and I am concerned. As of Tuesday, October 20, 2020 it was 508 acres. For more information visit: https://inciweb.nwcg.gov/incident/7251/
