Ok so I bent the frame of my 07 Hawk roof when trying to lift the top with the front right latch still latched. Still seems to function properly despite my destructive efforts but definitely visibly noticeable. I am concerned with snow load this winter. Any suggestions? I would assume that trying to bend it back would be none to good for the aluminum. Also have the same problem with one of my jack stand assemblies thanks to a tree last elk season...would taking a torch to the jack stand and bending it back be ill advised for long term structural integrity. Thanks for the input.

I think you could take the bent jack to a machine shop and have them put it in a press to straighten it. As to the roof, I don't know.

Without roof pics tough to advise you. Roof is aluminum frame and can be bent back if the damage is not severe and/or there are no broken welds.

What an idiot. Sure glad I've never done such a boneheaded thing :)

(If I had...I would be able to fix it with a block of wood and a hammer).
