being an Ex-Berkeley Boy...

I never really saw _us_ as resolving anything peacefully! There were times in the 60's & 70's that it was anything but peaceful in some of the demostrations i witnessed. I remember running accross campus to my dad's office to get away from tear gas canisters. And from my POV those demostrating deserved what they got. But then that's through the eyes of an 11 year old at the time (1968 campus riots).
