Just wanted to thank the WTW crew that helped me plan our Yellowstone trip. We stayed in the Madison Campground as suggested.

We left June 24th. Spent the night in Burley ID after a long day on the road. Then we got up Sunday and finished our drive. Arrived in West Yellowstone by noon. We setup and went right over to Old Faithful to catch an eruption and have an icecream. We covered the whole park over 6 days. Amazing place. Didn't see any bears. We did two long day trips to the Tetons. Did more hiking in the Tetons than the yellowstone. We packed up and headed home on July 2nd just in time, given the huge tour busses loaded with forgein tourists sporting selfie stcks, pushy aggressive board walk attitudes etc. The week before was perfect low key lots of friendly people etc. We had a great trip! Thank you for the tips!

Glad you had a great time.
It's an amazing place as long as the lookie lous are not there.
Headed there ourselves in late August when a lot of the tourist people have thinned out.

We ran in to the same crowd at Lake Louise last August right before labor day. Glad you guys had a good time. Mitch
