What an adventure crewing Thomas for Bigfoot 200 ultra run. There were 14 aid stations that his crew had to get to through the dense forest. No cellular service so we had to rely on directions that were given out at race meetings which a lot times were not accurate and a map of the area. It was like a maze trying to get to the aid stations...got lost a few times...saw a bear and some beautiful country side...and drove over 600 miles of remote forest roads trying to get to him. We no more got there and he would come in and got him loaded with nutrition and reset his pack and off he went and off we went. The approach to some of the aid stations were treacherous ...hazards 4 wheel drive roads...high clearance roads...but made the journey very exciting, challenging, exhilarating, and a huge success for our runner. If you ever get the chance to crew for an endurance run I would highly recommend for just the experience alone. #TeamThomasMullins IMG_3319.JPGIMG_3300.JPGIMG_3293.JPGIMG_3275.JPG
