I read through takeiteasy's post and blog; basing their system on the Actionpacker's looks like a great solution for some. My needs are a little different.
I don't have as much aisle space in the older FWC Eagle - the Actionpackers *really* won't fit as well, will be awkward to get in and out. I don't think there's any way to get a 24g box on the floor.
In a small camper I need to take full advantage of the existing cabinetry.
Not doing a lot of driving trips. More "destination" camping; haul the boat to a lake and stay a few days is my current ideal.
So I've been thinking about two things:
Building a custom-sized chuck box with shelving/drawers for cookware, spices, oil, etc. that *does* fit on the floor. This could do double-duty for cooking in the camper by throwing it on the counter, or even the cab-over bed.

Just ideas at this point, but might try out the collapsible version on a trip soon.
