Colarado to florida trip

First off I would like to say hi! And thanks for all the wonderful people on this site and the info they provide.
I'm headed out to Colorado in a few weeks to pick up my adventure vehicle a 2006 dodge 3500 with a 8' Alaskan co.
I plane on traveling to black canyon for a day or two then headed south towards Silverton then Durango were we will then head east towards Oklahoma city to visit a friend then work my way back to Florida from there. Just wondering if anyone recommends places to see and camp along the way. Plus maybe a good meal or too. Have plenty of time to wander.

I'm doing the same, congrats!

I was last east of Colorado in 1988 so can't help much with planning information.
