Penner asked me about how I used the Coleman Pack-Away 4-In-1 Table for a prototype.

The leg length options make it good for this type of experimentation. The tables come in a pair. I used one to simulate a site dinette table, and one to simulate a counter. Here is my build thread.

I modified the table in order to use it in the side dinette position. I wanted to support one end of the table on the bed rail step-out and the other on the floor. So I needed very short legs on one end....much shorter that the shortest length on the fold out legs. But because the legs screw apart in different lengths, the shortest length was about right. So I figured out a way to use just that little short leg. I turned the short leg upside down so I could use the adjustable foot as an attachment cap.
I drilled two 5/8" holdes in the table.
I inserted the adjustable foot, threads down, through the hole from the top, and screwed the little leg onto the threads from the under side.
This gave me the two shorty legs on one end and full length legs on the other. This was just about right to make the table level on my ATC Bobcat. The adjustable feet on the long legs helped.
I show it here sitting on my picnic table, to simulate the approximate height of the bed rail side step in the camper. I have since built out my Bobcat with a Lagun table side dinette.
But i think these Coleman tables are great for experimenting with different layouts or for doing a "good enough" set up in when you pick up a shell if you want to camp on your way home.
