Comb Wash/Butler Wash Route Planning Info

Recently Utah sold some state school land near Comb Ridge off to a private owner. Seems that owner has padlocked the gate across the country road used to access Comb Wash. Pretty sure this is the gate that Hoyden and I used when we traveled up through there after the VotG meetup in October.

Bummer, what a crock. See this happen all to often. Hopefully county will reopen.
With Wyoming,(recent npr article on) and other states looking to acquire federal land, and sell off federal and state lands, been looking into how to oppose, which groups are most effective at opposing.
Seems like some of the state hunters groups, and national ones like r.e.m.f are most effective. Any ideas?
