Combination Deadbolt

This was on my list..... Thanks. I think that I'd be interested in the first "Mechanical" link. I spend quite a lot of time in wet conditions and would think that keeping it mechanical would be a good choice. I also prescribe to the KISS theory. Have you actually installed one or do you just see it as a candidate at this point?

With the way I tend to "misplace" my keys, glasses, etc. this looks to be a no brainer of an upgrade.
Thanks for the links!
Cheers

Takes 4 aa's. My luck I'm misplace my keys and the batteries would be dead.

Actually, my last trip I left my camper keys at home. Fortunately I hide a spare set just in case.

I'm inclined to do the mechanical version. Just means that I have to rebuild the door since Phoenix didn't see fit to put a normal deadbolt in it.

I think I may move to a mechanical... I usually have my keys on caribiner on belt loop. However wife and I don't always get back to camper at same time... she NEVER has her keys ;)

I also drive a Ford and have keypad entry to truck. So I keep a spare key for camper in my truck just in case. Camper has spare Truck key too :)
