DIY Door awning for Hallmark (or other)

Hi,
Has anyone done a DIY door awning for their truck camper? Thinking about running some eye bolts on my yakima track on my Guanella to attach an ultralight grommeted tarp and then mcgyvering some removable struts to connect to camper and other end of tarp.... wonder if anyone has any ideas....

I very recently added a retractable Cafefree of Coloado "Trucki'n Awn" to tthe back of our 2007 Keystone camper. It required careful measurements but I am happy with the result.
