Exterior Led

10 watts is quite bright. Ask the mfg how many lumens of light are provided. It may be possible to wire in a dimmer (PWM, Pulse Width Modulation like referenced in the threads on Fantastic Fan speed controllers to reduce the brightness. While I have the FWC twin rear floods, I find the amber porch/awning light more than adequate for use at night. The floods are sufficient for doing minor surgery/needle point :D

The stock porch lights are one of the cheapest components they use. Can’t believe they haven’t upgraded them yet. I’m replacing mine with an aluminum housing LED light that’s much more robust. It’s only $18 for the replacement but I have to wire in an external waterproof switch. I want to be able to turn it on and off from the outside.
