I know it has been discussed, but thought I would start a thread for lovers of the HDPP F150

I just finished a trip within the state of Colorado, Front Range down to South Central Colorado for a week or so of camping/fishing. Just always impressed with this truck, 2016 SuperCab 8 foot bed carrying 2013 Grandby Shell + (furnace, king bed, cooktop, built up counter and bench) 1250 lbs. Our truck has a 2611 lb payload capacity, hardly notice the camper.. 565 miles on one tank!

My main reason for getting this over a F250 is that I drive for work when the camper isn't on it and the F250 eats more gas and its really tall (I am not).. I have had this set up for 1.5 years now and if I were to buy a new truck, I would buy the same thing.. 5.0 Motor

pics for fun

Diff. gear ratio? Engine? Thanks for the review.
5.0 with 3.73 gear ration... and of course 36 gallon tank..

Also that trip was on USHWY 285 for the most part, speed limit 55 for about 1/3 and 65 for the rest, cruise set and 60 and 70.. up and over 2 smaller mountain passes (Kenosha and Poncha).

That is a very beautiful trout. Are they an endangered fish?
Thanks .
Frank
They are not listed as endangered but there are special regulations on how to fish them, flies and lures only and of course catch and release only ( I haven't kept any trout, ever).. Apparently they have been forced out by non native fish, and climate change has made their environments fewer and fewer..
