Hi all,
Decided to start a new thread on this even though it was related to the current running flatbed thread. i am continuing my quest to configure my flatbed grandby so I can remove it from the truck with relative ease. I its my work truck and i am trying to be financially responsible as a working man and not buy another 30-40 thousand dollar truck. Anyhow with the help of Macafee I have determined that hs method is the best for securing a flattie to the tray and havin relative ease of removal. So i have an existing channel or lip on the side of my tray that serves as a mounting point for my removable rear rack and also has a series of holes in it for tie down points. this piece is mounted to the flatbed via a series of small bolts. I am wondering if i can or should attempt to use this to attach the fastguns to. See the attached photos. i have contacted UTE beds whom i purchased the bed from and he said it will work however Four Wheel said they would not recommend it. Looking for some advice from the forum as to how to run this as its tough with the tool boxes.
