February in Montana

Just picked up our new camper in Iowa and headed back home to Washington. I'm officially calling the start of our trip in the Black Hills of South Dakota

Kinda thought there would be snow everywhere.... Mt Rushmore is definitely on the bucket list

Weather from Iowa to billings, mt has been awesome. Sunny and highs in the 60s. We made it to Bozeman were it is sunny this morning but 25 degrees. We have been lucky so far and have avoided precipitation. Great for driving, not so good for skiing.

Found some trails near Bozeman while the Sun was still out. Beautiful area. Continued west and ran in to nothing but cold rain so we aborted the rest of the trip and headed home as we were a bit road weary from the east bound leg.
